A UNIQUE KNOW-HOW
Piola collaborates with 33 shiringueros located in the Madre de Dios region in the Peruvian Amazonia Working for ECOMUSA, a communal company composed exclusively of residents of the region , the producers pass down from generation to generation their unique know-how ; this helps to perpetuate traditions and preserve ancestral techniques of bleeding as a well bled rubber tree keeps regenerating itself and producing latex.
Shiringueros are constantly improving their extraction processes to offer a pure and premium product to their customers.
THE MATERIALS
We use European leathers , meeting REACH standards that are the highest in the world.
The rubber used for our soles comes directly from the heart of the Peruvian Amazonian forest.
