Our Story

We are four friends (Augustin, Josh, Quentin, Antoine).

One of them (Antoine) went to Peru as a volunteer in a non-governmental organization in Lima, Peru. He felt in love with this country and got strong network in the association field. We have always been attracted by economic development project fields. Peru is endowed with excellent materials such as organic cotton and wild rubber from the Amazon Rainforest. We teamed up with outstanding designers to create an independent label that would be plugged with an economic development project based in Peru.

Vision

We believe in creating a new influential, well thought-out and transparent social business in the long term. We believe that our customers can be the direct ambassadors of our project reinvesting 4 euros included in the purchasing price of a pair to finance our projects in Peru through piola.fr/ateliers We aim at building a huge and crazy project in Peru never realized yet by any other company.

YOUR SHOES, YOUR STYLE, WHAT’S NEXT?

For each pair sold, Piola redistributes 2€ to the shiringueros. These funds are used, amongst other things, to renovate and build latex production and to connect their houses to clear water and electricity (using solar panels). There are many projects and it’s thanks to you that we can make them happen.
